      Lake Andrew Resort is located on the southeast shore of Lake Andrew,

just 2.5 miles south of Interstate 94 in Alexandria, Minnesota.

As a part of a cooperative association, Lake Andrew Resort offers the quiet and secluded environment that one expects on their vacation, yet the convenience of being close to town. We have seven lakefront units nestled among privately owned cottages and mature trees. All of our cabins offer many of the modern amenities of your own home including air-conditioning, televisions, and newer appliances. Most cabins have been remodeled within recent years.

Lake Andrew is nearly 1000 acres in size (about one and a half miles long by a mile wide), large enough to give boaters and water-skiers plenty of room, but small enough to allow smaller watercraft safe navigation on breezy days. Only about half of the lake’s shoreline is developed so too much boat traffic is never a problem. The lake has a maximum depth of 83 feet with an average depth of about 20 feet. It is spring-fed and maintains a clarity index of about 9 feet throughout the summer. Lake Andrew has a variety of game fish including Walleye, Northern Pike, Bass, Crappies, and Sunfish. All species can be caught throughout the season, however one may have to "work" harder at certain times of the year to catch some species.

Our level sandy beach is free of large rocks, weeds and drop-offs. The designated swim area is free from boat traffic for the safety of our guests, with free use of kayaks and funbugs. We also have a playground area near the swimming beach. Docks offer fishing opportunities for youngsters after small perch and pan fish.
